 Windows Server 2003 disappears from Network Places
Network, Servers, Windows Server 2003
We have a 3 server Windows 2003 Server network. One of these servers disappears periodically from the computers listed in "My Network Places". It will re-appear for a few days or weeks and then drop off the list again. I can search for it and find it, and it gives no problems other than this. But it is frustrating - any ideas? Thanks

Have you checked the event logs for errors and warnings?

If using WINS, make sure that it is configured correctly; also that the browser service is started and functioning correctly on the network.
