		<description><![CDATA[BLKing08a , may I ask why two switches? Are they on different IP subnets? Also, you mention the clients that are on the untouched switch can see the server fine... which seems to imply there are clients on the second switch-- which might not see the server or other resources. 

Can you clarify your configuration?]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Mrdenny is correct. if the network switch is the new equipment and all of the workstations cannot access it then check the config on the switch. Is it set to auto-negotiate the speed? If so the workstations might have a problem negotiating the speed. try setting the switch port to 100 full and set the workstation to 100 full to see if that works. Are the workstations getting addresses from the server? If not then try statically setting an address and see if that helps.]]></description>
