Sending mails from Notes Client to Exchange Server
Hi, I have a exchange server used for mailing in our organization. Now we are using a Domino workflow which has mail to be sent. i have put domino server on different domain then the one exchange's domain. and also have synchronised both active and domino directory. Now my problem is i'm not able to route the mails to exchange. it always sends to domino mail box instead exchange mail box. How do i accomplish this that only exchange mail box is used not the domino mail box. Please reply urgently Giving a step vise process Thanks in advance Shweta

Answer Wiki:
You should be easily able to edit the server config doc & set a forwarding server to the internal ip of the exchange server using domino admin, if i'm understanding you correctly the moving of domains etc should not matter as long as there is ip access from the lotus server to the exchange server.

You didn’t say how you are connecting these enviroments. Are you using an MS Exchange Connector to Lotus Notes? Or just SMTP?

If using the connector, be sure that all entries point to the Exchange Domain name… which should direct e-mail to the Exchange.box for delivery.
