Sending iSeries spool files to a network printer

I have a problem whereby my network printer is printing multiple copies of a spool file I have sent to it - it just keeps churning them out.
The printer in question is an OCE' re-branded multi-function printer. I believe it's a VL2822C VarioPrint machine.
Has anyone used these to print from an iSeries system? Or are there a set of default settings I should be using when setting up the OUTQ and WRITER descriptions?
