		<description>It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

If you want to load data into a DB2 database for use by other applications, talk the DBAs about setting up your data and the DB2 tables.  They will have your installation's preferred DB2 load and unload tool.

If you want to generate reports and/or statistics about the data in the flat file, some tools that may be available at your installation are Syncsort, Easytrieve and SAS.</description>

         the conversion should be  on mainframes because i am working on it,i.e from  cobol-74/85 to DB2 and viceversa.
