 Send mail through Telnet
Exchange, Exchange 2007, Exchange Telnet, OWA, Telnet
I try to send mail outside from our exchagne server 2k7 through Telnet command. It is only for test purpose. whenever I can send mail from OWA, it is to be working fine but from telnet  I find only sender has recognized but it didn't recognized outside username.

Exchange Server 2007

This may cause for not getting DNS resolution thru the proxy server or SMTP outbound is being blocked. Have u tried telnet from the exchange server to any mail server on the outside via port 25 !.... u may test this on port 25, if u unable to connect, try out it via it's IP address like 64.157.4.81.
