A SearchStorage.com reader recently asked: We have a whole bunch of the following usedStorage equipment we are looking to sell. Sun Microsystem StorEdge D1000, A3500, 6500. All in the rack with power supply. All equipments were pulled from a working enviroment. We also have a Compaq Storagework TL895 look like new. Please can you advice us on best way or where to sell these?

you might want to consider Ebay.. Ensure that any magnetic media is scrubbed so that you don’t give away or fire-sale corporate information

    You might do an internet search for "used computer equipment" and call some that are near you. I have done business in the past with a couple reputable companies in the San Francisco Bay Area (both buying certified used equipment and selling surplus equipment) and was quite happy.
