I have multiple sheets in a Microsoft Excel workbook (it contains a ton of data). I need to select all of the cells from each sheet. Is it possible to do that? Perhaps a keyboard shortcut? Thanks very much.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Depending on why you need to select all cells, you may need a modified version of a VB script. Check this link for some pointers. This one looks at all cells in the workbook for a character to be replaced with another

Yes, that depends what cells/data that you wanted to select. If you are trying to select same cell range on different sheets in excel, you can try this, in sheet tab, select multiple worksheets together with holding down the Ctrl Or Shift key (may be depend on excel version). In active worksheet, select a cell range. Now you have the same cell range selected in each selected worksheet.

It may help us understand better why you need to select every cell in the workbook. There may be other alternatives we could suggest if we knew the full scope of the task you are trying to do.
