How do u use the 'whois' utility on a windows XP OS?

Whois will give you information about who registered a domain and also some additional information. You can use websites like www.dnsstuff.com or http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jhtml to search the Whois database.
If you want to do it on Windows you need a utility program that has this capability, there are tons of them, I use solarwinds myself. You can probably find freeware programs that will do this for you.
