Hi, My OS is winxp pro sp2 and all partitions is NTFS, when I go to security tab of a partition and want to add a user and click the ADD button it says: 'Unable to display the user selection dialog (null)' Could you please help me? Thank you. ---- Regard Mahnaz

please check your riched32.dll file in system32 directory. it must be 3.5KB and you can copy from original xp cd-rom. try and enjoy!

You may also want to run a virus scan. The nimda virus will change that .dll. See http://lists.jammed.com/crime/2001/09/0055.html for more details.

Hi,
the size of the riched32.dll is correct!!!!
It didn’t fix my problem.

Hi

Even though the file is reporting as being the correct size, it is probably well worth replacing it by one idealy from a windows XP installation with the same servie pack, and deleting the one in DLL cache beforehand, probably need to run XP in safe mode.
