is it possible to nest global security groups within another group - windows server 2003. thank you

Short answer is yes, we do it. But, depending on what you want to do with them, there are some issues. A couple of our app developers have found that they cannot parse individual account information from nested security groups for one. This may not be a problem for you, just wanted to let you know there can be quirks. CheckSix

I found that the nesting not to be a problem, you need to know the technique to extract the information. It is not the same as NT 4.0 where it is flat. There are plenty of sample vbscripts that will help, I use this in my login.
