Does a security research firms track record of vulnerabilities and exploits published make you trust them more, or more likely to hire them?

I don't know about hiring them (knowledge doesn't automatically equal trust, good service, quality deliverables, etc.) but I do appreciate their work - especially as their exploits are added tools like <a href="http://www.qualys.com">QualysGuard </a>and <a href="http://www.metasploit.com">Metasploit</a>. It helps me stay current with my security assessments and ensure my clients are getting the most bang for their buck.
