My able men, I want to make an apology to those that felt offended the other time i sent a question saying that I want codes to bypass password in application pakages. My intentions were clear. I was trying to do that incase if one fogot his password. Once again I'm sorry. I want this time the code to disable any user from shutting down the system in visual basic. Also if an attempt is done i.e to shut down, the administrative password should be prompted. Pls anyone with this or has any idea should help me. Thanks alot for understanding.

This http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB/Tips/Preventing_Logoff_or_Shutdown/article.asp is an example of preventing users from shutting down the system or logging off.

I’m not entirely clear on what you mean by the secon part of your question. Do you want to lock the system, so that an Admin has to come unlock it?
