LOAD ALL subfile

Hi, I am trying to display the contents of tables present in a library. The contents of tables will have the following details

1. Count of records

2. File name

3. Last change date

4. Last change time

There can be around 3000 files in this library. I have used Load all subfile

Is it advisable to use a loadall subfile ?

And how to search for a particular file in a subfile? for eg: The user enters a table name in the search field for which he wants to see the above details. He enters EMPLOYEE which is present in the 500TH position. how to make the RRN to point that field/row?

    Find sfl row

    rrnp= 1

    rrnp Chain MySubfile

    dow not %eof and MyField <> SearchFld

    rrnp = 1

    rrnp Chain MySubfile

    enddo

    In the subfile control record add the

    RRRP       SFLRCDNBR

    Note  RRRP must always be a valid value ( 1 or the desired row)

    Is it advisable to do a load all subfile?

    No one is going to (or should have to) scroll through 3000 records. I would display a page at a time and then let the user scroll if they want to or enter a "search" or "Position To" value to display the data they really want to see.
