Answer Wiki:
Try the freeware AgentRansack utility. It's a very useful search utility and can use regular expressions - even searching INSIDE of files. Thanks for that info but it seems kind of ridiculous to me that I would have to download an additional sofware to get Vista to do something Windows has always done. If for example, I have a group of files under the File Folder Medications, I should be able to click on that file folder and search for a word or group of words within the files under medications. This has always been able to be done and now for some reason with Vista, it is not possible or if it is, I cannot find it.

Sorry, on Windows Vista, I cannot find the search application to specify individual files or folders. In the XP version, you could do a search and specify for example, any document that has a ? in it. In Vista I do not see where I can specifiy that, only file extentions, file names, etc. Is there anyway to search for things that might be inside of the documents and not in the file name? That is what I cannot find in the Vista version.

I agree TTGI, it seems Vista has many “gotcha’s” for things we used to be able to do in XP. I am already looking towards Windows 7 and skipping vista altogether.
