 sco unix telnet ftp not enabled during installation
A sco unix server has been installed without telnet & ftp, i am unable to transfer my dmp files from the server to any PC. Kindly help me out,  i cant imagaine if the server crash as i have no backup

U need to be a bit more specific. according to u, “telnet ftp not enabled during installation” how did u know that…. what errors were there, have u tried to restart FTP daemon! It is not advisable logging into an ftp server as root, check & see, /etc/ftpusers contains a line “root”. it it is there comments it / delete it. Make sure the entry for ftpd and telnetd are both in the inetd.conf and the hosts.equiv has the system names in it.
