Dear All, I need to schedule a batch job, In which I would call a program to run, it will call another program which exists in other library. And program updates the data in files in Multiple Libraries. If I schedule the Job, which calls main program, again while main program calling another program(exists in other library) it will fail. So How to set a Library list for this job ? Need to schedule job to auto run daily. Can some body give the solution to this ? Thanks & Regards Reddy

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You can designate the library when alluding to the file.
Usually with an override in your CL.

No. Not without some kind of clue what the failure is. A clue about operating system version/release might also be helpful. Nothing in your description seems difficult.

We have multiple companies in different libraries you can chgcurlib and also rmvlible and addlible. first rmvlible and monmsg cpf0000 in case the library is not there then add the libraries in the correct order with the addlible and the position(*first , *last or *after). The cl will run in batch and you can set the library list the any way needed. Since all our files are in multiples libraries the chgcurlib will find the correct file first. Any job running in batch will first check the current library and then process thru the library list until it finds the file. Hope this answers your question.
