Scheduling appointments in Calendar
My calendar will not retain input. Is there something incorrect in the installation or does it require a driver update?

Outlook does not require drivers, the OS does. Have you updated Office with all the Microsoft updates available? Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Office suite. When you say it does not retain input, do you mean ANY calendar entries? Or just past ones? If past ones are you archiving your calendar?
