But I suspect that many users have the authority even though they don&#039;t need it and you don&#039;t want them to use it, so you have no control.

So, you need to look for the T/JS entry in your system audit journal that logs the release from the job scheduler. It should be just a second or two at most before the T/JS entry that marks the start of the backup job.

If you aren&#039;t auditing for job events, I don&#039;t know how you can tell.
