I have a Panasonic DP-8020E that is set up as a network printer/scanner and all the PCs (running XP) can print to it but the scanner will no longer send scans to the PCs. I only get a generic message “an error occurred in the transfer.” We do not scan very often so we don’t know when something changed to make it not work any longer. The IP & gateway addresses for the PCs are correct in the scanner and the port (6509) is in LISTENING mode on the PCs. All the settings look correct in the program. I have reloaded the software on the PCs but no change. Is there anything else I should be looking at before we have to call the service company (it’s no longer under warranty, as you might have guessed)?
