I accidentally left  the scanner on that is attached to my computer over the weekend at work. Will this hurt anything?

    If there was no electrical fault happened/ no other unexpected event happened, hopefully it is OK. However, after how did it behave after resume ur work..... if there is no abnormal attitude from scanner / from ur PC,  assuming it is fine now.

    Should be fine. If it's acting up you may need to re-boot scanner, pc or both. Very unlikely that it will not work unless there was a power surge or other electrical issue. You should always have your devices connected to a surge protector to be safe.
