Scandisk or Check Disk log file

If I schedule a disk check on my XP OS partition it obviously has to wait for reboot to run the check. However, I'd really like to know what it did just like when I get a report running it on a different partition while XP is running. Where do I find its log file. The only thing I can ever find are *.chk file fragments if it find anys problems. However, I never can find a descriptive log file of what it has found, done or not done.

Look in the events log for winlogon. You will find the event log by right clicking my computer icon, click on manage. look under event viewer for system. Track down the date and time you ran chkdsk you should see a winlogon event.
