Backup, PTFs, SAVCFG, SAVSECDTA
If only user profiles and devices configuration were changed after an Entire System Backup, can I just do a SAVSECDTA & SAVCFG as a fall back backup before I load in PTFs ?

Hello, If you did an Entire System Backup, how long are you waiting before you do the PTF's? Has anyone been allowed on the system after the System Backup? If you are just wanting to pick up changed objects, why not just run a Save Changed Objects backup to be on the safe side of not missing anything? But if no users were allowed on the system after the System Backup you should be safe. Who made the profile and device changes after the System Backup? Depending on your security setup and if you are using a 3rd party security software to just backing up SECDTA and CFG. Hope that helps some...
