 Save/Restore Spool Files from Source (V5R2) to Target (V5R3) thru BRMS/400

My question is, I have the licensed program BRMS ordered for the Target V5R3 Box. I need to be able to Save Spool Files off a Source AS400 Box (V5R2) thru BRMS, and then, Restore the Spool Files to the Target AS400 Box (V5R3). Client purchased license program for the Target Box only. Can you tell me how to set up (install) BRMS up on the Source Box and Target Box, in order to be able to do this ? Does this Set Up involve any downtime on the Source Box ? Please advise, ... I read documentation, but, I don't fully understand ! Can you help me out ?
