There is really no such thing as SAS is better or Oracle is better. In some parts of the world, Oracle has better opportunities whereas SAS may have better opportunities in other parts. And if one was better than the other, the other would already have died a natural death.

It also depends on various other factors – company where you land up, the scope for learning in that job, your attitude, whether you continue your learning once you land up in a job, your taking up responsibilities and risks, etc., etc.

And both SAS and Oracle have very vast coverage and it will take years to master them completely.

What really is your aptitude? You have to know your liking and accordingly take a decision.
