SAP Solution Manager Installation
Hi!
I'm tying to install SAP IDES. I use the System Copy to Target System ABAP only. Now it asks me for the Solution Manager Key.
So I started the Solution Manger Installation. Problem is: i can only select System Copy ABAP + JAVA. Then the system asks me for MIGJDMP and JMIG lables. But I can not find them.
After extenisve research it comes down to this:
- do i need a "real" SAP ERP system first, before i can install the IDES/Solution Manager?
- do i need a special installation for the Java Add-In?
- Can i request a Solution Manager Key from SAP Support?

i got the same Problem, im a newly certified SCM Consultant, installing his IDES Server, based on Netweaver, all Prerequisits are ok.
I expected to find a Chapter in SAPINST "central instance Abap+Java" but it was not here, so i installed a "stand Alone Server" successfully, and thought that i laterone can do a System Copy to reload the IDES Databses to my Oracle 10g.
I run in trouble with Solution Manager, and Questions from Sapinst i could not answer.
When you get helpfull answers, or you already have installed your Server successfully, please let me know.
