Dear All, Can you please let me know what are the vaious logs in a SAP system and where these SAP log files are located in a SAP R/3 system? Or are they stored in tables? Any help is appreciated. I came across transaction, error, workflow logs, etc., but do not know where they are stored. Thank you for your co-operation.

Hi,

there are logs in filesystem in the work directory, which you can access with editors and other like the system protocoll which you can only see with transaction SM21.

To access all try transaction SSAA.

Good look

Hi, Thanks a lot for providing the inputs. Are there any log named as transaction log in SAP R/3 ? Where it is located? SAP R/3 has also workflow log. Where it is located. I could not understand what is meant by "Protocols from Batch". Can you please expand a bit? Thank you.
