SAP Accounts Payable

Can I register an invoice as being received into the business however  requires investigation and therefore on hold. Obtain a report on those invoices on hold by buyer i.e the individual who raised the original invoice.

Maybe. But I don’t see how it helps in this discussion thread. You should open your own question to get the appropriate connection.
 
And your best choice is probably in a SAP forum rather than here.
