SAP FICO -G/L and AP master data
Hello,
I used SAP Access (ECC 6.0) and a book (Configuring SAP FI/CO) to practice SAP. But when using code OBY7 to copy Chart of Account for the US (CAUS) and filling out the Chart of accounts (EXCA-exactly like the example in the book), Chart of account name, Financial stmt,..., financial stmt vers (BAUS)..., SAP does not allow me to create this chart of account because" specify chart of accout does not exist". Why this happen? How can I fix this?
One more thing: To create master vendor record, I define Account Groups in Master data, but I could not find Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data and Define Account Groups with Screen Layout(Vendors), but could not find Preparation for Creating Vendor in IDES of ECC 6.0. Could you explain why?

the book that you using is for an old ´sap version.
Please try to buy a book for ECC60 that you have.
this is one book for example ISBN 978-1-1-59229-136-6 (to avoid differences in screen).
Iam using IDES 4.6C and I did the entire book (Configuration SAP R/3 FI/CO). It worked without any problem.
I hope this makes sense.
Iam looking for IDES ECC60 for training, could please help!
