I have completed my Bcom and MBA(finance) and currently working in one of the top 5 companies in core accounting process with 6 years of experience. Drawing a salary of 6lac p.a. As I'm just an MBA graduate i feel that it wont be helpful for me to see myself at a manager level in the organization due to lack of indepth accounting knowledge. I feel that for further promotion a CA or ICWAI certification is required. But i'm not interested in that. I heard SAP FICO has great values and opportunities. I feel that with these experince in finance, SAP FICO would be more helpful and inter related so that it would be easy for me to cope up as a SAP FICO consultant. I need your suggestion whether it is right time to take up SAP FICO certification after 6 yrs in Finance accounting? how about the opportunities in India and abroad? Would that be able to fetch me more than my current package at the initial stage? Suggest me some good SAP FICO centres in Chenai to get my certification done.
