First of all open INIT<SID>.sap in notepad. path: drive:oraclever<ex:10.2.0.4>db_2databaseinit<sid>.sap Change one value DISK_TYPE to DISK and save it. Now.. Go to Run and type BRTOOLS and you'll step in main window. Give your option 4 which is for backup and database copy. then give option 1 which is for database backup then do the following: change the disk_type to DISK. now go on pressing 'c' for continue till backup completes.. Then you are done..
