Hi, This is Regarding the Configurable Material. I would like to know what is the Table for default Characteristic Value or How it is getting stored. For example, if we open through MM03 Transaction-MRP3 View and Click the Button Configure variant. It opens a dialog with 3 Tabstrips. The Mandatory Section the Default Characteristic Value appears along with Characteristic desciption. I would like to know how to fetch default characteristic Value ?(Not Value description) Thanks in advance. Regards Remi

The master data for characteristics are stored in CABN (char master data), CAWN (values) and CAWNT (textual/language dependent description of value(s)) The default value for a characteristic is marked with X in ATSTD in CAWN. klaus
