Now, i am going to compress F-table of  an infocube to E-table.May i drop index and deactive aggregates first?

Answer Wiki:
For compression of data no need to drop INDEX. You can directly compress the cube.
But make sure before loading or deleting the data from Cube you need to drop the index and after completion of loading or deletion you need to re built the INDEX     Hope this will help you
