SAP BI Career after acquisition of BusinessObjects
First of all I would like to thank you all team for helping and giving valuable suggestions.
I have been working as an ABAP programmer for the last 3.5yrs. Now am planning to move on to Netweaver and to eSOA and my probable options I think are PI or BI.
And here my dilemma is on SAP BI career. After the acquisition of Business Objects, the road map of SAP BI will be changing in the future(I read).
The question is: If I learn SAP BI, what will be the career as a SAP BI technical consultant atleast for next 1-3yrs?
Or Would you suggest me the PI path?

I think you shuould wait till NW 8 is in martket by next year.
Cause there are probale changes in BI in next release .
keep your eyes on release of next version and its release notes
