Hi, I have 8.5 years experience in IT field in noted companies. I have hands on experience in Solaris, Veritas Volume manager, Clearcase, clearquest etc. I would like to learn SAP Basis. Is it advisable to change my career to another new field? If yes, Can I directly do SAP certification course? Please suggest good institute in Bangalore. After completion of course is it possible to get job based on my existing UNIX experience? I am ready to put 100% effort. Please let me know if my decision is good or not? Regards, Setyo

getting into SAP Basis without a full life cycle experience is a major challenge. However with your background, coupled with BASIS, can help you with the IT teams working on SAP installations, major SAP installs usually run on UNIX and should not be a challenge; SEIMENS is perhaps the only legally qualified insititue that teaches SAP apart from SAP itself. you would get a job .

Hello,

I m student n doing MCA i have done my BSc(Computer Science).I m i the 4th semester n in the 5th semester we have a live project So i m thinking to go for the ERP or SAP.

Can u suggest me about the scope of both of them or any other currently in boom in market ?

Both SAP and ERP is good for u, SAP is the number one option then ERP.
