    Either you go for Red Hat or Suse Linux for this purpose. Especially, Suse Linux is designed for SAP which you can get info from here: www.suse.com/products/sles-for-sap/. Of course if users are more familiar with Red Hat, u can go for it.

    Personally, I suggest a Red Hat only, as SAP can be supported by or integrated with many other business automation utilities, and finding these utilities in RPM is much more predictable than in YAST-packed form or as source codes.

    Fedora Core, as a "poor sister" of Red Hat, can be effectively used for this purpose, too. But what a point is to save a penny for Red Hat when you plan to install SAP?
