Dear KN As you mention, your skills in C & C++ will help you to learn ABAP and certify. Basis would be another area which would be suitable. I believe following would help: learning/improving programming skills in languages like C++, Java, finding an employment in programming even as a trainee. Even better, if you could find an employer who would employ you as a trainee ABAP programmer or Basis administrator. You may explore this even with your current employer. As a techo, later you can go on to Netweaver, BW, and so on. In any case, confidence in yourself , belief in your strengths, perseverance with your efforts and not giving up after a "No" response, ... all these help a lot personally, professionally!!!
