1. SAN: Can it support multiple concurrent accesses? 2. What are the trade-off's between SAN array size and number of concurrent indexer processes (take note indexers will be constantly polling, renaming and deleting files) if i am creating an indexer? 3. SAN: Upon scaling are there any potential bottlenecks or limits?

1. Yes, if you use clusters. It may cause corruption if non-clustered servers access the same LUN.
2. Not sure if this answers your question, but if you add more drives to a LUN you will get better performance due to how RAID technology works.
3. Storage Processor capabilities and Bandwidth are potential bottlenecks
