Hi, We use Dell PowerEdge NAS in our development setup, currently consisting of 40 VMs , but we observed some delay while accessing the VMs over NAS . IN future, we may have up to 150-200 VMs, in that case , which would be better, either NAS or SAN, Dell NAS has got 12 slots for hard disks, till what extent can i extend my hard disk, is there a limit on that. Would it be costlier if we go for SAN from NAS, as we can still reutilize the existing SAS and SATA drives from my NAS. Regards, Preethy

Software/Hardware used:
Dell poweredge NAS, 12 slots, 4 intel SSD's , 8 SAS 4TB hard disks
