Q:
Sametime questions? To be answered in upcoming webcast
Hello,

I am one of the editors for ITKnowledge Exchange as well as the editor for TechTarget's Expert Answer Center (http://expertanswercenter.techtarget.com).

There is going to be a webcast on Sametime next Wednesday (April 27th at 10:00 a.m.) -- it's not posted yet on the Expert Answer Center or on SearchDomino.com, but keep an eye on this page: http://expertanswercenter.techtarget.com/eac/itExpertWebcastSeries/0,295200,sid63,00.html for a link to it (and I'll post to this thread, too).

Here's what Mathew Newman will be talking about:
In the early '80s it was the fax; by the '90s, e-mail; and at the turn of this century, e-business via Web-enabled applications. Now the "instant" revolution is upon us, and just as the telephone has supplemented face-to-face interactions, "instant" now means your entire knowledge force is available at the click of a mouse. Find out how Lotus' Sametime fits into this revolution in Mathew Newman's webcast. He will talk about Sametime's components, how Sametime can help you break the learning paradigm and how to integrate it with Notes.

I'm looking for questions you may have about Sametime that we can ask Mathew during the webcast. If 10:00 a.m. EDT doesn't work for you, you can catch the webcast in its archived form later on.

Questions are much appreciated before next Wednesday. You can respond to this thread or private message me or contact me through any of the avenues below.

Thanks so much! I hope we can get your questions answered for you, and I hope to see you at the webcast.

Thanks,
Dana

That's where you can pre-register for the webcast or show up on Wednesday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. This webcast on Sametime will also be archived for you to see at a later date, if you can't make it next Wednesday.

I'm still taking questions, btw, so keep them coming! Thanks to those of you who have asked yours already.
