I'm trying to remove individual entries from my Instant Contact List. When I right click and select remove nothing happens. I can remove groups that were added from the Domino directory but not individual entries. Can someone tell me where the list is stored and or point me in the right direction to find a solution?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Michael,
Try clicking on the list entry to highlight the item you wish to remove and pressing the delete key on the keyboard.
That should work for you.

If you added a Group from the Public Directory, you cannot remove individual members from your buddy list – you can only remove the entire group.
If you added an individual member, you can remove them individually, with a right-click> remove or by highlighting the name and pressing your Delete key.
If you added a group, and you don’t wish to send a chat to all members, you can still chat-request the entire group, and then you CAN remove individual members from THAT chat request. That action will have to be repeated with each chat request.
I’ve seen this problem when a contact is entered into the contact list with no private group membership. To duplicate, delete all the entries in the Contact List including the default “Work” private group. Add an entry to the contact list, but do not specify a Private group. The contact will display in the contact list with a blank group. You cannot delete the entry no matter what you do.
To fix the problem, you will need to edit the vpuserinfo.nsf database on the Instant Messaging server. Make sure the user is not signed onto IM, then delete the persons entry in the vpuserinfo.nsf database. When the person signs back onto IM, there should no longer be any contacts in the list and the Work private group is resored.
This is a problem in all releases of 6.5 as well as 7 Beta 3.

Thank you for all the helpful insights ! Editing the vpuserinfo database did the trick.
