Is there any way to restore a public folder item/Folder after the deleted item retention period over from a public folder database.one of the user mistakenly deleted a folder long time back,But i have valid backup .using any Microsoft tools?

You can always restore from a backuop. That should not be a problem. You have to restore the entire public folder data base then find the folder you want. It would help to know what version of exchange you are using and what patch level. Please include the details. Thanks.
