I am planning to buy a laptop. I just want to know if VMware would be good to run on Intel based Laptop ( Intel core 2 duo , 4 GB , 320 GB SATA ) or AMD Turion Processor. ( 4 GB, 320 GB SATA )

I assume that you are talking about running VMware Workstation or VMware Server on your laptop? If so that'll be fine. My laptop has much worse specs than that and works fine.

You might want to specify what Vmware product you are planning to run on the laptop. You should be able to run Vmware server or workstation on almost any machine.
