Running Outlook 2003 in Windows 7
I recently bought a Windows7 machine with MS Office installed.  When I booted it, I found Office did not include Outlook, which I use for e-mail.  I loaded my 2003 version of Outlook.  It runs, but some features are missing.  My Contacts are there but the Address Book in New Mail is empty, with no files to be selected.  Editing features also are limited (e.g., no ruler).  Any advice?

Answer Wiki:
The address book in new email is your autocomplete history. There is an .NK2 file on your old computer that has the information you want. It is located in C:Documents and Settings[Username]Application DataMicrosoftOutlook. Copy the file to a thumb drive and paste it in your new computer. The path for Windows 7 is C:Users[Username]AppDataRoamingMicrosoftOutlook. For your editing features like the ruler, you need to reconfigure Outlook to use MS word as the default editor. Go to Tools -> Options. In the Mail Format tab, check Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages.
