I can't use both the running header and the page number correctly. It will only allow me to have one or the other. Any suggestions?

Welcome to ITKE, chaemel! Can you tell us what program you're using?

Also, please let us know what happens when you try to use both.  Do you get an error message?

I'm using Microsoft Word 2010. No error message, just if I pop number in right hand side of page running head on left disappears, and visa versa

I removed AndreaF's comment from the Answer Wiki (since it is not really an answer).

    Here's AndreaF's comment:

Can you set your page numbers in the footer instead of the header?

No, I am writing a paper that must be APA formatted. I watched a YOUTube video and have since figured out how to do it. Thank you anyway :)
