Run a Macro in Excel 2007 spreadsheet located on a file server
Excel macros, Excel 2007, Microsoft Excel
When I run the macro located on the local drive it works, but when I put the document out on a shared file server I get an error. The server folder is in my trusted locations.

Have you tried mapping the shared folder as a drive?

If mapping the shared folder does not work. Then other options will be to test
1) Save as on the shared drive (not copy).
2) Try both as .xlsx and .xlsm extensions.

Excel 2007 is a bit finicky on executing macros.
