My program is using two display files.one has all record format. second has all window record formats.window screens is opened when F13 or F17.when i press F13 , first window screen is appeared. i return to main screen. now i press F17 for another window screen.but first window blinks first .then second winodw is opened. if i dont compile window records display file with RSTDSP(*YES), this problem is solved. but i need this compilation option in *yes parameter

1. Why can’t all the record formats be in one display file?

2. Call a separate program to process the other display file. rstdsp *yes required.

I don’t think that I have ever coded a program with two display files.

    bfore this i was using all rcord formats and window record formats in a same display file. Problem was: I m using Message subfile for message displaying at 24 line. but in window case, we need msg inside the window at 18 line. same msg file with msg at two differnet location was not possible. so i put all window records format in an other display file.and defined redefined msg subfile at 18 line. Problem is sorted out with generating others problem for me.

    I have never tried this, but can't you just create a second message subfile in the same DSPF for line 18, and point it to the same program message queue?
