Hi, This may take a while so please bear with me. Im running a test setup of 1 xp pro client and 1 server 2003 in vmware. Ive set the client with one nic to vmnet1 and the server 2 nics, one vmnet1 host only (for the Internal network) and on vmnet8 NAT, to simulate a router by using my computers internet connection. Server running AD,DHCP,DNS. Nic setup on server as follows NIC1 Internal 192.168.10.1 255.255.255.0 dns 127.0.0.1 ( With dns forwarder setup in dnsmgmt to go to 192.168.9.254) NIC 2 vmnet8 NAT 192.168.9.1 255.255.255.0 DG 192.168.9.254 DNS 192.168.9.254 The server can access the internet fine, the xp client gets it IP addresses via DHCP on the .10 network. DNS resolution works fine but they are unable to access the internet. I assume this is what should be happening. What Im wanting to do 1st is, setup the xp client to access the internet from the server. I'm guessing i use RRAS for this? 2nd Setup VPN, although i wont be able to test it, i still want to set it up so i know the steps. Finally, install and setup ccproxy ( would of used ISA but its expensive and ccproxy is free for 3 connections) The idea is, I have 12 users in ad and want to restrict certain to emailonly, email and internet for some, and nothing at all for the rest. Will ccproxy be able to do this? Ive got the same people with and without restricts in the same OU so i guess I can provide password protected access to the internet using the proxy and just have everyone receive the same proxy settings via GPO? Any tips, info appreciated.

Software/Hardware used:
Vmware, ccproxy, server 2003
