 Routing to new Notes server
Lotus Domino
I am building a new Notes server (6.5) and need to route users to this new server so the old one can be shut down. Is there a way to automatically route users to the new server?

Answer Wiki:
If new Domino server has the same name as old one, then just copy all DATA files to new server. If new server has different Domino name, then all you need to do is to use Tools/People/Move to Another Server from Domino Administrator (page People&Groups)

Copy the old servers data content icluding tghe notes.ini to the new server, use the old servers name and ip address on the new server
