I need some help here please
Scenario:
Devices: Three routers and one hub; 2 servers 2003 (one with two NICs) in its own forest; and 3 Windows clients. Each router is on a different subnet (ISP and two private subnets).
Note: The ISP is using broadband router, and the two private networks is using Linksys Wireless router.
IP addressing: Networks ---> 28.0.0.0 255.255.255.224 Static (ISP)
192.168.3.0 255.255.255.255.0 Linksys
192.168.4.0 255.255.255.255.0 Linksys
All devices can access the Internet, but cannot access resources from the other networks (i.e. \192.168.3.78 suppose to access the share folders of that host, but in my case cannot access share folder from different subnets). In addition, cannot ping host in different subnet.
I manually updated the host files of each machine and turn off firewall, but still have no luck. I am getting required time out message when I ping.
However, my goal is to have public users (28.0.0.0 network and other networks) to access resources from both of my servers on the 192.x.x.x networks (i.e. website or email). Each of the server is on a separate private network as a stand-alone domain controller.
In addition, I want people to be able to access resources from my servers on the private networks as an ultimate goal (i.e. Users from Africa can access my website). How do I route traffic from the Internet to these secure devices with the equipments mentioned above?
I thanks you in advance for the time you take to read and response to my question.
regards,
Spencer
